Full beverage service may be contracted through International House’s loa lounge. In keeping with the Voodoo origins of the bar’s namesake “loa” –meaning divine spirits or deities – Creative Director Alan Walter prefers to call himself a “spirit handler.” Recognized as one of the nation’s most talented mixologists, Alan brings both passion and excellence to the craft, even making his own inventive ingredients from the freshest local produce. A mosaic of fine spirits, fresh juices, aromatic herbs and handmade syrups equip the bar to serve original cocktails.Alan’s inspired team will be delighted to meet special requests, tailoring drinks to individual requests. In every element of service, from glassware to garnishes, guests will enjoy an uncommon attention to detail and style in a refined and memorable experience.
