True to New Orleans style, there is a handmade element woven into the interiors. Local artist Erica Larkin’s hand-crafted bedside tables and totem inspired café tables are topped with honed Calacatta gold. Modern electronics are juxtaposed with a seating area that includes not only iconic black and white photographs by the legendary Herman Leonard but also an "LM Chair”, designer Lisa Marie Pagano’s original chair-and-a half. The king bed, with its 7' tufted headboard and layers of white linens, is animated by Modern Fan Co.’s slow-moving "Flute" fan. Generous bathrooms feature a handsome white pedestal, elegantly beveled mirror and unusual vanity light dressed in cascading strands of Swarovski crystal. The closet is thoughtfully customized, a feature which like the terrace makes these New Orleans hotel rooms among the more popular for extended stays.
